Lumière Restaurant is a unique and extraordinary dining experience offering simple and sophisticated food in an elegant setting. All of us at Lumière share a passion for the fine food and drink that we present to you in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. This warm and informal embrace is reflected in the smiles of our guests on a nightly basis.
Our cuisine is a three-fold combination of classic bistro elements, modern cooking techniques and local & sustainable ingredients. Throughout the year, we strive to source ingredients from local farms and food producers such as Verrill Farm (www.verrillfarm.com) in Concord, MA, Kimball Fruit Farm in Pepperell, MA and the Northeast Family Farms Cooperative (www.northeastfamilyfarms.com). Lumière is honored to have much of our seafood sourced by Ingrid Bengis of Stonington, Maine, seafood purveyor to some of the country’s finest restaurants.
While dining at Lumière, you may enjoy one of our house-made specialty cocktails or select from more traditional bar offerings. Our 60 bottle wine list is carefully crafted with numerous selections from North America and France as well as Spain, Portugal, Greece, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and South America. As with our cuisine, we try to offer organic and/or sustainable wines whenever possible; wines indicative of their terroir much in the same way our ingredient-driven menu is reflective of its sources.
As a new director to the Board of Overseers of the Chefs Collaborative (www.chefscollaborative.org), Michael Leviton is at the forefront of the local and sustainable movement. Through his involvement, we are able to reach thousands of people on a monthly basis and continue to educate the public on the benefits of all things green, local and sustainable.
